A warm welcome to Tsitsikamma Village Inn in Storms River and Transfrontier Parks Destinations. We’re so excited to bring these great new itinerary options to our guests.
The historic Tsitsikamma Village Inn is set in the heart of Storms River Village, between Plettenberg Bay and Port Elizabeth, and adds a unique “Village”-style accommodation option to our Garden Route itinerary. Established in 1946, the hotel is tucked against the lush Tsitsikamma forest, close to Storms River Mouth, in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Most of the rooms are situated around a typical Village green, and the buildings reflect many of the different building styles that were to be found in the Cape Colony during the 1800s. Owned and managed by the powerhouse team of Irma and Chris de Villiers, Tsitsikamma Village Inn is full of character, fun and warm hospitality. Eating options include the inimitable Marilyn’s 60s Diner and the in-house restaurant, Bacchus, and a new craft beer brewery on site offers a growing generation of craft beer drinkers a unique Tsitsikamma brew experience. Its setting near to the Storms River mouth and Tsitsikamma Forest mean that it’s ideal for nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers and adventure-seekers. Tsitsikamma Village Inn also offers conferencing and team building facilities, and is an excellent business getaway, just over an hour from Port Elizabeth.
