Star gazing, spa treatments, archery and night drives are also available under the guidance of professional game rangers. Wildlife that may be encountered during your game drives are: the "Big Five" - lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard; as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, jackals, wildebeest and plenty of antelope and bird species.

Hlosi Game Lodge is an intimate game lodge offering rich wild life game-viewing and luxurious game lodge accommodation for the whole family. Our 14 luxury suites and safari tents lie along a gentle curve of hill above a river plain, and offer wide-open views from your private deck.
Hlosi Game Lodge offers an all-inclusive, luxury family friendly accommodation, on a private malaria-free game reserve in the Eastern Cape. The lodge is set on a hillside above the Bushman’s River plain, providing a tranquil grassland retreat and an intimate safari experience with opportunities to see the Big Five.
Accommodation comprises four luxury suites, two family suites, and eight luxury tents, combining comfort with exclusivity. The tented suites provide an authentic bush experience while maintaining modern luxury.
On-site facilities include elegant dining areas, a lounge and library, a bar, shaded verandas overlooking the pool and watering hole, and a boma for traditional bush braais. A dedicated children’s program including a children’s lounge with games and books for younger guests, is available daily.
Two daily game drives are included in the rates at Hlosi Game Lodge, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. The lodge can be booked exclusively for intimate weddings, team-building events, or small conferences. Activities on the reserve include game drives, bush walks, and bird / wildlife viewing.
Follow the N2 from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown (+- 70km).
Turn RIGHT onto the R342 to Alexandria (Karel Landman Monument). DO NOT take the R342 to Paterson. The right hand turn onto the R342 is exactly 3km further down the N2.
Go through the security gate.
Follow the signs to Hlosi Game Lodge (+-2.5km turn right).
